How should an SDVOSB use a post-award debrief?

Always request a debrief after losing an award β€” it is your right under FAR 15.505-15.506. A debrief reveals: your technical scores, past performance ratings, price position, and strengths/weaknesses as evaluated. Use this to improve future proposals. Identify whether evaluation errors occurred (grounds for protest). Request the debrief within 3 days of notification; the agency must provide it within 5 business days. Take notes β€” written transcripts are rarely provided.
