- Payment information — billing data is handled by Stripe and not stored on our servers
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Deliver weekly capture intelligence signals and reports to your email
- Manage your subscription, billing, and account access
- Improve our service based on subscriber usage patterns and feedback
- Prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in Supabase, our database provider. Email communication uses Resend. We use industry-standard encryption and access controls to protect your information from unauthorized access. However, no system is completely secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
Data Retention: We retain your account and usage data for as long as your subscription is active. After you cancel your subscription, we retain your information for 30 days to process refunds and comply with legal obligations, then delete it.
Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate SDVOSBNews:
- Supabase — secure database hosting and user authentication
- Anthropic (Claude API) — processes public procurement data for intelligence analysis and ingestion
- Stripe — processes subscription payments (we never see your payment details)
- Resend — delivers our weekly email briefs
These providers have their own privacy policies that apply to their services.
Your Privacy Rights
Right to Access: You can request a copy of the information we hold about you.
Right to Deletion: You can request that we delete your account and all associated data.
Right to Portability: You can request your data in a portable format.
