System for Award Management

SAM.gov

The official U.S. government system for entity registration, contract opportunities, and award data.

SAM.gov (the System for Award Management) is the official federal system where businesses register to do business with the government, obtain a Unique Entity ID (UEI), and make their representations and certifications. It also publishes contract opportunities (the successor to FedBizOpps), sources sought and presolicitation notices, and entity and exclusion data. Active SAM.gov registration with current reps and certs is a prerequisite for any federal award, so SDVOSBs must keep it accurate and renewed annually.
