Proposal Writing & BD

How should SDVOSBs prepare for oral presentations?

Oral presentations are scored separately from written proposals. Prepare by: assigning specific topics to knowledgeable presenters (not just executives), practicing with timed rehearsals, preparing visual aids that comply with solicitation requirements, anticipating and preparing for likely questions, and ensuring the program manager who will actually run the contract presents (not just BD staff). Review the solicitation's oral presentation instructions carefully.
