What can I do if my VetCert application is denied?
If SBA denies your VetCert application, you will receive a written decision explaining the reason. You may appeal the denial to SBA's Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA) within 30 days. OHA conducts a de novo review β it considers the full record, not just whether SBA made a procedural error. If OHA upholds the denial, you may also seek reconsideration by reapplying with additional evidence addressing the deficiency.
