What types of contracts do SDVOSBs typically perform?
SDVOSBs perform all standard federal contract types: Firm Fixed Price (FFP) β common for well-defined services and supplies; Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) or Cost-Plus Award Fee (CPAF) β common for R&D and complex technical services; Time and Materials (T&M) β common for IT labor; and Indefinite Delivery vehicles (IDIQ, BPA). FFP contracts give the contractor more profit opportunity but more risk. Cost-reimbursable contracts require a DCAA-adequate accounting system.
