Registration & Verification

What happens if my VetCert certification expires?

If your VetCert certification expires, you immediately lose eligibility to bid on SDVOSB set-aside contracts. You cannot self-certify or claim SDVOSB status until recertified. Existing contracts are generally not affected β€” performance can continue to completion. You must submit a new application and receive SBA approval before competing on new set-asides. Expired certifications are updated in SAM.gov automatically.
