Can SDVOSBs bring protests to the Court of Federal Claims?
Yes. The U.S. Court of Federal Claims (COFC) provides an alternative or additional forum for bid protests. COFC protests can challenge the same types of procurement errors as GAO protests but proceed through formal federal court litigation. COFC protests can result in injunctive relief β court orders stopping contract performance. They are more expensive and slower than GAO protests but can be effective for significant contracts where immediate injunctive relief is needed.
